Using SW3: Roles and permissions
Within your organisation, there may be one or many groups that publish datasets. Each dataset in StatsWales belongs to one specific group only.
Depending on your role in your organisation, when you're added to the system, you'll be:
- added to a group or groups
- assigned roles for each group you're added to
The 3 roles within StatsWales are:
- editor
- approver
- service administrator
You can have more than one role within a group, and different roles across groups. For example, you could be only an editor in one group, but an editor and an approver in another.
